Eric Alan

“My musical style is simple and direct in production value, infused with electronic dance vibes and driving, infectious rhythms with a Latin flare. It’s expressive, a bit haunting and definitely danceable, cocky and fun.” – Eric Alán

Latin-American Eric Alán is a New York-based singer/songwriter and has carved a unique musical niche for himself on the ever-evolving dance club scene. He’s performed live in Houston, Miami and New York. Inspired by Spanish pop/rock artists like Moenia, Elefante, Ricky Martin and Paulina Rubio, Eric recorded his first two songs ‘Carcel de Oro’ and ‘Nadie’ in Spanish, which shortly thereafter, led to performances in many festivals and night clubs.  Since then, his 2011 english release,’Pornstar’ has been on the playlists of influential DJ’s, with remixes by DJ Gomi, and Jeff P.

Having been immersed in music from an early age, Alán found in music a way to break from growing up gay in a strict Jehovah’s Witness household. Madonna and Depeche Mode are two of his major influences.  He brings loads of passion, ambition and drive into the studio and his work.  For Eric, music is all of these things: the expression of his freedom, shaking off his past struggles and all-out fun, which makes for an effective and direct connection with his audience.

Following the dance floor momentum of ‘Pornstar’, is his new single, ‘L.O.V. & E.’.  He describes the new release as “cocky, sexy and fun with a Latin flare”. The single includes a remix by the Klubjumpers as well as a remix with longtime collaborator, Jeff P.

The video for ‘L.O.V. & E.’ features plenty of eye candy, which includes a bevy of boy-toy dancers, including the late gay porn icon, Arpad Miklos.

Backed by a slick, ‘groove heavy’ beat along with sultry vocals, Alán’s new sound is on track to turn out dance floors the world over.

With praising reviews and increasing popularity, Eric Alán remains dedicated, determined and focused to the near future when his full length album is completed and released thus spawning remixes, promo events and live performances.

With the amount of ambition and momentum behind Eric Alán, you can only expect to see more of him soon.
